Maturity assessment
Delivery, reliability and security scored against a fixed model, with the evidence cited for each rating so the result can be argued with, not just accepted.
Optimisation & Advisory
A clear read on where delivery hurts, a costed 90-day plan, and skills to run it.
The work
Most teams already know something is slow; what they lack is agreement on which problem to fix first and what it will cost. We assess delivery, reliability and security against a fixed model, pull the evidence from your repositories, pipelines, incident history and cloud accounts, and write down what is genuinely working versus what only looks fine on a status slide.
The assessment ends with a prioritised 90-day roadmap: each item carries an owner, an effort estimate and the outcome it is meant to move. Then we stay to help deliver the first slice, pairing with your engineers so the plan does not become another document that ages in a shared drive.
Scope
Every engagement on this page covers the following, sized to your setup rather than delivered as a fixed package. If something here is not relevant to you, it comes off the scope and off the price.
Delivery, reliability and security scored against a fixed model, with the evidence cited for each rating so the result can be argued with, not just accepted.
A 90-day plan ordered by impact against effort, with each item carrying a named owner, a rough cost and the metric it should move.
We work in your repositories alongside your engineers on real tickets, so new practices are learned on the codebase rather than demonstrated on a sample project.
Lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate and time to restore measured before and after, so improvement is a number rather than a feeling.
A short report that separates blockers from annoyances, states what we would do first with your constraints, and lists what we would deliberately leave alone.
Workshops, code reviews and walkthroughs scheduled around delivery, covering the specific tools your team already runs instead of a generic curriculum.
What changes
Handover
Everything produced during the engagement is yours: the repositories, the accounts, the documentation. There is no proprietary layer and nothing to unlicense if you take the work in-house.
Tooling
A starting point, not a requirement. We work in whatever you already run wherever it does the job.
How it runs
The same four steps on every engagement. You see each one before it starts and can stop at any of them.
Interviews, repository and pipeline review, incident history and a look at the cloud accounts, gathered over one to two weeks depending on estate size.
We walk your leads through what we found, name the trade-offs, and agree which problems are worth solving this quarter and which can wait.
We pair with your engineers on the top roadmap items, writing the changes together so the approach is absorbed rather than documented and handed over.
We step back once the team is running the cadence, returning at 30 and 90 days to check the metrics have held rather than quietly slipped.
Questions
The report is deliberately short and each recommendation is scoped, costed and tied to a metric. Most teams start the first item in the same fortnight, and we stay on to help with it rather than leaving a PDF behind.
We test our assumptions against your own evidence: pipelines, incident tickets, pull request history and cloud bills. When something is already well run, we say so and move on. The value is in the ordering and the costed plan, not in discovering that deploys are manual.
It is a real cost and we plan for it. Assessment interviews are short and scheduled around delivery, and pairing happens on tickets your team already has. If the calendar cannot absorb it, the roadmap will not survive either, so we would rather find that out early.
Yes, when that makes sense. We will join your change process and review forums, and we are comfortable handing specific workstreams to other suppliers. The roadmap names interfaces and owners so responsibility does not fall between two contracts.
Optimisation & Advisory
Find the 30% of your bill nobody can justify, then keep it gone with budgets and guardrails.
An on-call team on the other end of the pager, with agreed response targets and monthly incident reporting.
Your engineers learn to run the platform themselves — through pairing, workshops and internal runbooks.
Bring the specific problem. We will tell you honestly whether this is the service that fixes it, and what it would take.
